Beckett first to 14 wins as Red Sox roll (AP)

The way Josh Beckett has been going lately, he certainly didn't need all the offense the Boston Red Sox are providing the past few days.

Beckett pitched seven strong innings for his major league-high 14th win, Mike Lowell and Jason Bay homered and the Red Sox beat the Detroit Tigers 8-2 Wednesday night.
