Capps hits Pujols with pitch, ejected (AP)

Pittsburgh Pirates reliever Matt Capps was ejected for hitting Albert Pujols with a pitch in the eighth inning Sunday, one batter after Skip Schumaker hit a go-ahead two-run home run.

Capps entered with one out in the eighth to preserve a 3-2 lead, but Schumaker hit his first career pinch-hit homer on an 0-1 pitch.
