Rookie English driver Alex Lloyd and crewman Charles Buckman were hospitalized Friday after separate accidents during practice for the Indianapolis 500.

Buckman, a crewman for Dale Coyne Racing, was knocked to the ground in the pits by Danica Patrick's incoming car.

He was taken to the hospital with a concussion and cuts to his face and scalp. Lloyd complained of neck pain after hitting the wall hard in the first turn.
