Jason Williams unretires, joins Magic (AP)

The Orlando Magic have announced signing free agent guard Jason Williams. General Manager Otis Smith said Wednesday that Williams will provide depth and leadership to the team's backcourt.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Williams retired in September 2008 after playing a season for the Miami Heat, where he average 8.8 points per game.
