FILE - In this Oct. 16, 2009 file photo, Kentucky freshman John Wall eyes the basket during a team scrimmage at Big Blue Madness to kick off the NCAA college basketball season in Lexington, Ky.<br /><br />ESPN.com is reporting on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, that Southeastern Conference commissioner Mike Slive says there are questions regarding the eligibility of Wall.<br /><br />Slive says that there are "amateur issues" surrounding Wall and Mississippi State freshman Renardo Sidney.<br /><br />ESPN.com reported that Wall's issues stem from his relationship with AAU coach Brian Clifton, who was a certified agent between 2007 and 2008.<br /><br />Wall made at least two unofficial recruiting visits to Kentucky during that period.

Kentucky point guard John Wall has been cleared to play by the NCAA.

The school announced Friday that the 6-foot-4 freshman must sit out two games and repay almost $800 in expenses incurred during unofficial visits to schools during his junior year at Word of God Christian Academy.
