Yankees ace Chien-Ming Wang will be on crutches and wear a boot for at least six weeks after injuring his right foot running the bases, the latest blow to New York's banged-up pitching staff.

It was not certain when Wang would be able to pitch again. An examination in New York on Monday showed he partially tore a tendon and sprained his foot Sunday during the Yankees' 13-0 win at Houston.

Tiger Woods is no longer on crutches since surgery last week on his left knee, but he said Friday in his monthly newsletter that he does not know when he will return.

"I knew a couple of months ago I was going to have the surgery," Woods said. "The knee has been bugging me for a while.

The only decision was do you miss the Masters or play in the Masters? I decided to play. Even if I had won, I still would have had the surgery.

Connecticut scoring leader A.J. Price injured his left knee Friday against San Diego and did not return to the NCAA tournament game.

The junior point guard landed awkwardly on his knee while driving to the basket with 9:39 to play in the first half.

He was carried off the floor, examined on the bench and then helped to the locker room for more tests. He briefly returned to the bench on crutches, but wasn't around for the start of the second half.
