Bulls' Rose out again, to see specialist (AP)

Derrick Rose was out again for the Bulls' game against Boston on Sunday with what coach Tom Thibodeau called "stiffness" in his back and will see a specialist when the team gets back to Chicago.

The reigning MVP also missed Friday's win at Charlotte. "It's not as cleared up as we would have liked right now," Thibodeau said before Sunday's game.

The Chicago Bulls have made it official: Reigning MVP Derrick Rose has agreed to a five-year contract extension.

The deal extension, which kicks in next season, was announced Wednesday. It is worth approximately $94 million, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press late Tuesday on condition of anonymity because the team has not released details.
