Penn State says assistant coach Mike McQueary won't coach the Nittany Lions on Saturday because "multiple threats" have been made against him.

The university released a statement Thursday night saying it would be "in the best interest of all" if the receivers coach didn't attend the game against Nebraska at Beaver Stadium.

One year after dominating Penn State in Tuscaloosa, Alabama did the same today in Happy Valley. Trent Richardson scored twice and the No. 3 Tide beat the No. 23 Nittany Lions 27-11.

With his championship-winning resume, Alabama coach Nick Saban hardly needs a pat on the back from a fellow coach to feel appreciated.

Trent Richardson ran for 144 yards in place of injured Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram, leading No. 1 Alabama to a 24-3 win over No. 18 Penn State on Saturday night.

The Crimson Tide (2-0) hardly slowed down without Ingram, and a young defense forced freshman Rob Bolden and the Nittany Lions (1-1) into several turnovers to end promising drives.
