The price of the St. Louis Rams continues to drop

Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez inherited the St. Louis Rams when the mother died in 2008. They also inherited Stan Kroenke as a co-owner who happens to own 40% of the team.

Now, as they try to sell the team the confusing nature of the ownership group continues to drop the asking price for the team.


 

Sacramento Monarchs shut down

It is always sad when sports team shut down, not only for the fans of that team, but for fans of the sport as well.

It is tough when economics and other outside business decisions shut down or force a team to relocate. Today the Maloof Family who both the Sacramento Kings of the NBA and the Sacramento Monarchs of the WNBA announced that they would no longer operate the Monarchs and now the WNBA offices are scrambling to find a new ownership group and a plan to relocate the franchise.


 

2009 MLB season review: Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates have not had a winning season now in 17 ears, in fact they are little more than a Triple A developmental team for whichever contender has enough prospects stocked up to trade for their star players.

While they are one of the worst teams in the MLB, they are not as bad off as the Washington Nationals. If the ownership group of this club ever decided to spend a little money, they could be contenders, and their fans would flock to their beautiful newer baseball stadium.
