Miami Dolphins reserve quarterback Pat White was back at practice after a one-day absence he blamed on "personal issues." White took part in both practices Saturday after missing the first day of training camp Friday because of an excused absence.

The Miami Dolphins facing a 0-3 start and the loss of starting QB Chad Pennington for the season to a shoulder injury traded an undisclosed draft pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for QB Tyler Thigpen.

The Dolphins were forced to make a deal having only Chad Henne and rookie Pat White on the roster after losing Pennington.

While Thigpen isn't a great QB, he is a serviceable one who played much of the 2008 season starting for the Chiefs.
