Broncos suspend WR Marshall for conduct (AP)

Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall, openly unhappy with the Denver Broncos, was suspended by the team Friday for unspecified "detrimental" conduct.

The club did not say in its 15-word statement how long the suspension would last. Marshall has asked for a new contract or trade and has acknowledged he hasn't learned new coach Josh McDaniels' playbook.
