Drew Brees threw for 229 yards and three touchdowns passing and the New Orleans Saints took a 24-10 lead over the New England Patriots at the end of the first half on Monday night.

His scoring passes went for 18 yards to Pierre Thomas, 75 yards to Devery Henderson and 38 yards to Robert Meachem.

He completed 11 of his 13 passes.
