Haslett restores Bulger as Rams starter (AP)

Marc Bulger is the St. Louis Rams' starting quarterback again in one of Jim Haslett's first moves as their new coach.

Backup Trent Green started Sunday's 31-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Scott Linehan's final game as coach. Bulger was back with the starters in practice Tuesday.

He is the highest paid player in franchise history.

Rams coach Scott Linehan says Trent Green will replace Marc Bulger at quarterback for Sunday's home game against the Buffalo Bills.

The team said Linehan was not going to comment about the decision Tuesday but would be available to speak Wednesday.

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Rams 37-13 last Sunday. The Rams fell to 0-3 and lost for the 16th time in 19 games.

This was their seventh loss in a row to Seattle. They have been outscored 116-29 this season.

For the second time in three years, the St. Louis Rams released wide receiver Isaac Bruce. This time they may be cutting ties for good with the last player remaining from the team's 1995 move from Los Angeles to St.

Louis. "It's a tough choice for the franchise," coach Scott Linehan said on the team's Web site, stlouisrams.com.
