Status of Penguins' Crosby unclear (AP)

Sidney Crosby has an undisclosed injury, and it's unclear if the Pittsburgh Penguins star will be able to play Saturday night against St.

Louis. Crosby left Thursday night's game at Phoenix with five minutes left in the second period. After the game, a 4-1 loss by the Penguins, he would only say he had "some discomfort." Penguins spokesman Frank Buonomo would not not elaborate on the injury Friday.

Sidney Crosby has lived up to the hype, and in his third NHL season has the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup finals for the first time since 1992 -- when Mario Lemieux took the black and gold to the title.

Jaromir Jagr was winning Stanley Cups in Pittsburgh when current Penguins star Sidney Crosby wasn't Sid the Kid, but Sid the Infant.

Brendan Shanahan won them when Evgeni Malkin was in a Russian grade school. Scott Gomez has as many championship rings (two) as Penguins veterans Gary Roberts and Petr Sykora do in 34 seasons between them.
