Craig Austrie and freshman Kemba Walker scored 21 points each and No. 2 Connecticut ran away from Hartford 99-56 on Monday night, the Huskies' 63rd consecutive win against an instate opponent.

Walker, who started in place of injured A.J. Price, had five rebounds, while Jerome Dyson added 18 points and Jeff Adrien had 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Connecticut scoring leader A.J. Price injured his left knee Friday against San Diego and did not return to the NCAA tournament game.

The junior point guard landed awkwardly on his knee while driving to the basket with 9:39 to play in the first half.

He was carried off the floor, examined on the bench and then helped to the locker room for more tests. He briefly returned to the bench on crutches, but wasn't around for the start of the second half.

Price entered the game averaging 14.

A.J. Price scored 24 points and No. 15 Connecticut held off West Virginia 79-71 on Saturday, the Huskies' 12th win in 13 games that kept alive their hopes of a Big East regular-season title.

Jeff Adrien had 17 points and 10 rebounds -- his 16th double-double of the season -- for Connecticut (23-6, 12-4), while Price hit five 3-pointers.
