Paes, Black win Australian Open mixed doubles

Leander Paes and Cara Black won the Australian Open mixed doubles title, beating Ekaterina Makarova and Jaroslav Levinsky 7-5, 6-3.

Laes led the top-seeded pair Sunday with a dominant presence at the net and quick footwork.
