Rays activate 2B Iwamura from 60-day DL (AP)

The Tampa Bay Rays have activated second baseman Akinori Iwamura from the 60-day disabled list. Iwamura missed 81 games while recovering from left knee surgery and was in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Detroit Tigers.

Iwamura was hitting .310 with 16 RBIs in 44 games when he got hurt.
