When the Detroit Lions fired Matt Millen and handed control of this team over to Martin Mayhew, one of the first things Martin did was trade WR Roy Williams to the Dallas Cowboys for a first, third, and sixth round pick in the 2009 draft.
Mayhew was largely applauded for making that trade to get more draft picks to begin his rebuilding effort of a NFL roster devoid of NFL talent.
If that is the case, can we make a similar argument for the Lions to trade away WR Calvin Johnson?
