Verlander gets 5 year, 80 million dollar deal

The Detroit Tigers and ace Justin Verlander have come to an agreement on a new five year, 80 million dollar contract extension.

This will insure that Verlander will remain a part of teh Tigers organization until 2014. It will also cover his final two years of arbitration, and barring a trade Verlander will pitch his entire career in Detroit.
