Woods shoots 63, contending at Buick (AP)

Tiger Woods has shot a season-low, second-round 63 to move into contention at the Buick Open.

Poor putting led to an awful start in the first round in Woods' first tournament since missing the cut at the British Open.

Woods teed off early Friday morning, hitting his first drive 342 yards straight into the blinding sun.
